All new Vistas (well sort of)
Hello there in the dark dreary months of Winter... I say dreary because we had about three inches of snow about a week ago, then it went below freezing and stayed there! Now we have about 3 inches of ice everywhere ... it's such a pain in the... well everywhere! So though the Vista from my window is altered it is not exactly new...
But, the Vista on my computer is... or so Micro$oft tell me...
I have dual booted one of my PC's to test Vista (and to have Vista for testing websites and so on) for Clients. The only thing that seems new are the graphics. All the options are exactly where they were before, it works in exactly the same way as XP does but it looks prettier (which makes it slower) and it doesn't like my network (which XP had no problems with!) ... So, new graphics, new problems and it's all slower yay Micro$oft does it again.
Other news is ... I am working on a game. In fact a remake of an old C64 game called Mission A.D. (See it here) ... Now, my oldest friend Andrew will read this (I hope) and roll his eyes and, were he here, ask me 'Why that game?, it's a crap game'. Well, for some reason I liked it and still do, so I am remaking it for PC (and all being well Mac) using the Garage Games tools ... when I have something other than vague work in progress stuff - I'll show it to you.
Anyway, I hope our new year is going well .. chat to you again soon....

howdy. thanks for information about vistas. going to dual xp64 and xppro myself. but I want the pretty graphics! so I will cave in and peek at it somehow. Ah well. Hope all is well. I have recently finished reading Neil Gaiman's ETERNALS comic series. Tell him I enjoyed the series a lot if you see him. :)
