It's all over ...

.. for another year, time to clean up and get on with stuff.

Christmas seems such perfunctory thing over here in the U.S., merely referred to as the Holidays (so as to be Politically Correct and not offend those who do not celebrate Christmas).

It's a one day break, offices and business' close for one day, there is no Boxing Day no Christmas close-downs of offices ... oh well, I miss Christmas as Christmas not just a Holiday.

Having said all that, our Christmas Day was spent in the company of family and was very relaxed, fun and over way to quickly.

Now we're on to a New Year and New things ... (No resolutions as such, just an idea that we want to try and see out friends more).

All the best for the New Year to everyone, have a happy, prosperous and healthy 2007

Silk/Spencer

And yet... some people take the whole week between Christmas and NYD as a holiday... the lucky ones. Like me.

Well, lucky except for the fact that Leigh was beastly ill for pretty much all of it and so I was taking care of both her and Henry, who - having just learned to crawl at the beginning of December - is now apparently in training for the Olympic Speed-Crawling Team (provided his budding athletic career doesn't get derailed by the call of kitchen cabinets and CD collections and newspapers and laptop computers and pretty much anything that the adult's have which is a category that obviously contains some things that are not appropriate for the very young even if Dad does follow the scrub-downed lifestyle of the new parent).

:D

Happy Whatever!

Sorry to hear that Leigh was ill, we got your card and its wonderful picture of Henry (we'll be keeping that one around to make us smile!).

Best to you and family...
