Spain, Dolphins and Friends
Well, we've returned from our yearly trip to Spain....
As usual we had twelve days on board the Toftevaag reseach ship. Unfortunately, we only had five days at sea! However, of those five days we had a couple of small siting of Common Dolphins and one HUGE siting of Pilot Whales! Fantastic.
Then we had five days in Seville (with one day in Madrid). Seville never fails to delight me as a city. It has beautiful old architecture, a moorish roayl palace - The Real Alcazar - which featured in the file Kingdom of Heaven! A Cathedral that is so huge there is no way to fit it into one photo! The people of Seville are very friendly and don't laugh too hard at my fumbled attempts at Spanish.
We spent one day in Madrid with our friend Maria (and Susanna later) we walked all over Madrid seeing some sites and an art gallery, but mainly chust chatting and laughing with our friends.... which completely made the whole trip to Spain the best trip.
I have another trip soon. I am visiting England to catch up with my friends (and me Mum ;) and I am really looking forward to just chatting and laughing with my friends again.
To friends - Cheers
