London Calling....

Yesterday (July 7th) was a sad day for London.

After years without bomb threats, sudden evacuations and the underground stations randomly being closed London had been a safer city than I knew when I last lived there.

Yesterday I called friends in London, "Is everything OK?" I was asking... and the Spirit of London (maybe Britain but this was London's tragedy) was displayed with the immediate reply "Oh yeah, we're all OK. This is nothing new is it?".

London has my thoughts, I am saddened that this has happened in my home country, but I am bolstered by the spirit that London has shown and will show to these terrorists.

Congratulations to London for getting the Olympics for 2012, but incredibly well done for showing an indomitable spirit in the face of such horror.
